Rebecca Washington is a girl in control. Well, at least when it comes to acing her college classes. The rest of the time, she seems to be at the mercy of everyone else. Like when she’s dumped in front of her peers, hit on right afterwards by a jerk for some stupid bet, and then paired up with the same jerk for a lit project.
In order to maintain her perfect GPA, Rebecca will need to give a stellar presentation while ignoring the prodding eyes that will be staring at her. When her partner, Derek, starts to ease her fears of public speaking with his laid back attitude, she’s forced to confront her new feelings about him and his charming smile. Rebecca knows falling for a guy who teases her for being a prudish nerd can only end badly, but what if it’s just another thing out of her control?
I really enjoyed reading this book and I am so glad I requested it to review.
Now as we know from the synopsis Rebecca is dumped by her boyfriend and is immediately hit on afterwards by a complete stranger which we come to know as Derek….. Which I really came to like in the course of this book as I really came to hate Rebecca, sometimes you felt like just shouting at her or better yet giving her a slap:roll:
Not forgetting her best friends Ansley and Shayler who we really didn’t get to know so much I really wish they had their stories not the surface facts we were presented with especially Ansley.
I really felt the ending was rushed and not really thought out as I hoped .
But overall it was a great book with lots of amazing scenes and would definitely recommend this book to any YA fans who loves quick college romance.
Thank you Jordan S. Gray for this amazing book ,really looking forward to reading more of her works.
