Unrequited love is the biggest heartache

Lily and Adam have been best friends since the dawn of time… Okay since primary school to be exact.

They have always been accepted as a double act…a package deal…and they like it that way. Until one fateful day in the summer they are 18, when Lily makes a terrible discovery—she is head over heels in love.

With Adam.

Lily’s unrequited feelings are hard to deal with as it is but this is further compounded when she inadvertently introduces Adam to the love of his life.

Eve.

Many years later and Adam is once again single, dealing with heartbreak and Lily is there to pick up the pieces. Her methods are sometimes a little unorthodox but what do you do when you’re in love with your best friend and he sees you as his rock?

Can Lily help Adam move on and find happiness again? And can either of the friends recover from losing the love of their lives?

Sometimes the one thing you want is way out of reach.

Review

I finished this book some days ago and I am still speechless and emotional on what to write as a review.

To prevent giving anything away ,my review is going to be a bit simple ( so as to prevent me from gushing too much about the book)and also not ruin it for you guys .

Getting into it,This is a story of two best friends Adam and Lily who have been secretly in love with themselves as you’ve probably read from the blurb and since they are afraid to lose themselves and not sure of the others they keep it to themselves and assume the worst .

Oops I have said too much you’ll just have to read what happens next but I can let you in on something, fate has other plans that will bring them together?

Their story is one I’ve never read ,each character supportive of the other in a very unique way ,oh! They are songs to go with each chapter so you really get the feel of it .

I’m so glad I signed up for this book because it’s one of the best books I have read this year even if life interfered with me .

Thank you Lisa J.Hobman for this amazing book, looking forward to reading more of your works.
